Stream Deck Slides page

Channel 1, notes 0-6 drive Presenter: Change Item 0, Prev Item 2, Next Item 3, Change Slide 4, Prev Slide 5, Next Slide 6. Leave these alone.

If a cue doesn't fire

  • Click a different slide first, then the one with the cue. Presenter won't resend the same cue twice in a row.
  • Check the channel is 2. Old slides may still send channel 1 PCs straight to Lightkey (e.g. Only Cross was Ch 1 PC 4). Those do nothing now; change them to channel 2 and a PC from the list.
  • Companion → Variables → MIDI → lastMessage should read noteon_2_<note>_127 for a scene or program_2_<PC> for a cue.
  • Lights don't match a Home tile? Each scene trigger has its own copy of the light commands. Change a tile's levels and update the matching "MIDI scene" trigger too.

Don't change

  • Presenter → Settings → MIDI: In Local Midi Bridge StreamDeck to Worship Tools, Out Local Midi Bridge Worship Tools to StreamDeck.
  • Companion → Connections → MIDI: In …Worship Tools to StreamDeck, Out …StreamDeck to Worship Tools, Auto create variables on.
  • Companion triggers MIDI scene 20-30 (ch2) and MIDI PC 1-24 (ch2). Don't delete or rename them.

Status

  • Scene notes 20-26 tested from Presenter.
  • Notes 27-30 and PCs 1-24 still need a test from Presenter slides.
  • Known quirk: the Home Offering Video tile sends Stage Sides at 1% instead of 0.

PTZ controller FoMaKo KC-608 joystick · works alongside the deck

Front panel of the FoMaKo KC-608 PTZ controller

Using it

  • Pick a camera: CAM 1-4 keys. For Camera 5, press CAM (bottom left), 5, then ENTER (bottom right).
  • Move: joystick pans and tilts; twist toward WIDE or TELE to zoom. The ZOOM T-W slider also zooms. PTZ SPEED knob sets speed.
  • Focus and exposure: FOCUS (near-far) and IRIS (open-close) by hand. AUTO FOCUS and AE AUTO put them back on automatic.
  • Color: WBC MODE changes white balance; R and B knobs trim red and blue.
  • Presets: CALL + number recalls a shot. PRESET + number saves one.
  • Menu: SETUP, SEARCH, INQUIRE, IP, ESC and ENTER on the LCD. CAMERA OSD opens the camera's own menu.

Careful with PRESET

  • The deck's shot buttons recall presets stored in the camera. Saving with PRESET on the controller overwrites whatever deck button uses that number.
  • Never save over preset 15. It is the home shot ALL CAMS HOME recalls on all five cameras.
  • Camera OSD changes stay in the camera. Leave them alone during a service.

If something goes wrong

  • Bad shot on air: DIRECT TO LIVE on a good camera, or FTB Auto. Fix it, then come back.
  • Camera drifting on its own: Auto Tracking Off on its page.
  • Blurry: AUTO FOCUS, or AUTO FOCUS on the controller.
  • Moves too fast on air: SPEED DOWN first, or turn PTZ SPEED down on the controller.
  • No sound on the stream: OBS AUDIO LIVE dark means the booth sources are muted. Press Mute once, or play/pause if Spotify is still running.
  • Talking mics quiet on the stream: known issue with the livestream mix on the X32 bus. Tell the sound tech.
  • Slide stuck in the corner: green key button, or FULL SCREEN WORSHIP TOOLS then AUTO.
  • Not sure you're live: STREAM STATUS and RECORDING STATUS on Home.

Don't change

  • ATEM input order. The deck sends Camera 1-5 to inputs 2, 3, 6, 7, 4 and slides to input 1.
  • OBS scene names Pre Service, LIVE, Post Service. Renamed scenes break the deck buttons.
  • OBS source names Atem Signal and Sound Board Audio. OBS AUDIO LIVE, Mute and Spotify depend on them.
  • Preset 15 on every camera.

Status

  • Home, ATEM and OBS button actions read from Companion v5.0.7 on Oct 22, 2026.
  • Camera page shots come from the latest deck images in the Companion cheat sheet. The preset number behind each shot button isn't listed yet.

Get here early. Everything below should be done before people arrive.

If a check fails, open Fix it.

Turn it on

  1. picture1

    Power on

Cameras, ATEM switcher and the livestream Mac.

To confirm: the power-on order and where each switch is.

  2. picture2

    Open the apps

On the livestream Mac: Companion, OBS, ATEM Software Control and Spotify.

The Stream Deck lights up with the Home page once Companion is running.

Check the cameras

    All Cams Home

On Home. All five cameras move to their home shot.

  2. picture4

    Tap each camera

On Home, tap Camera 1 to 5 in the preview row. Each one should turn green and show a clean picture.

Nothing turns green? See Deck does nothing in Fix it.
