Australia

Chris & Melissa George

Since 2004, Chris and Melissa have served as church planters in Western Australia. God has called them to plant churches in a secular and unchurched society. Perth is the most isolated city in the world with over 2 million people who need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Chris and Melissa’s mission is to see healthy churches planted in Western Australia, bring people to the Lord, and create discipleship pathways for them to grow in their faith. They strive to connect with their community in relevant ways and to give opportunities for others to connect with God. Chris and Melissa give leadership to the local church and the Western Australia Zone. They strive to see the zone become a self-supporting district through leadership development, church planting, and church partnership.

Cambodia

Romy & Linda Caringal

Romy & Linda are both Medical missionaries, using both their medical training as Pediatricians, as well as their missions experience from a career of church planting, leadership development, and local church focus. They are now serving their last term with Global Partners in Cambodia alongside the missionary team in Cambodia. They work to train new Wesleyan missionaries and strengthen four local churches in Cambodia.

Nicaragua

Ryan & Sarah Schmitz

Ryan and Sarah have been long-term missionaries with Global Partners in Nicaragua since 2011. Ryan and Sarah have four kids that they have enjoyed raising in Nicaragua, each with their own gifts and talents that the Lord has used in incredible ways in both Nicaragua and beyond.  They serve the Nicaraguan church by working with church plants and schools, and by hosting short-term mission teams in order for individuals, families, and communities to learn more about Christ and experience His redemptive power. They build relationships with Nicaraguans through mentoring, community development, ministries of compassion, creating opportunities for Nicaraguan missions teams, as well as reaching out to elementary and high school students and their families with the hope of Jesus.

Canada- Indigenous Ministries

Mark & Babe Smith

Mark and Babe Smith moved to Lillooet, British Columbia, Canada in 1979 to become part of the St’at’imc community. Their involvement began by visiting and getting to know elders and families through friendship and serving. The sad history of abuse by the “church and missionaries” often made it difficult to share the good news of Jesus. It took many years of friendship to gain trust and a willingness to hear the truth of the Gospel. After nine years, they saw the first steps take place in the heart of the St’at’imc people as they became followers of Jesus. Over the years, their prayers have been answered as many in the St’at’imc community have embraced Christ and there is now a fellowship that is active and a serving in the community. The St’at’imc Christian Fellowship continues to grow and share Christ through Bible studies, discipleship, and culturally sensitive gatherings.

Life Savers Ministries

Gloversville, NY

The heart of our ministry is to uphold life and see lives changed through the Gospel message as we continue being a voice for the unborn and a source of hope for the hopeless. The practical material assistance we offer complements the emotional and spiritual help women and families receive from Life Saver Ministries as we
strive to extend God’s love in both word and deed reaching more souls with the message of life! About half of all pregnancies in the U.S. are unintended, and of those, 4 in 10 end in abortion. Established in 1985 to be a resource for women facing unplanned pregnancy, we help meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those we serve. We seek to empower women to choose life for their unborn child and to embrace abundant life through Christ for themselves.
