Check the screens are on

Choose what the preview shows
Use the bar above the preview to switch between Main Audience Output, Stage Display and Off.
Message the stage screen
In the right panel, type in Stage Display message and click Display. Use the message clear button to remove it.
Stay one slide ahead of the vocals, not behind.
Before the service
- Open Presenter and today's service from Services.
- Click the display icon and confirm Main Audience Output has a green dot.
- Click the first slide of each item, and play every video once.
- Confirm the Order on each song matches what the band will play.
- Press Clear All F12 so the screen starts clean.
During the service
- Click the first line of the next section as the band reaches it.
- Clear Slide Content F10 during prayer or the sermon when no slides are up.
- Clear All F12 if everything should go dark.
- Leader changes the order? Click the song or section directly in the outline.
- Save corrections for after the service, unless something is wrong on screen.
Stage display
A second screen for the band, with its own dot in the display menu. Use Stage Display message to send a short note, and the message clear button to remove it.
Livestream
The livestream doesn't run through this computer. Nothing in Presenter controls it. Stream problem? Contact the tech lead, or see the Livestream Cheat Sheet.
Checklists
Build check (before Thursday practice)

- Every song added, with the right Order
- Scripture uses the correct translation
- Announcement and sermon slides added
- Videos added and tested
- Online shows at the bottom right
Sunday pre-service
- Service open in Live
- Main Audience Output has a green dot
- Every video played once
- Song Order matches the band

Services are stored in the cloud. Anyone on the team can build one from home and it'll be waiting on the church computer.
The pieces
- Services: the order of the gathering, each with a date, a type (e.g. Sunday Morning, Worship Nights) and a title.
- Songs: a shared library, each with lyrics, a key and one or more orders.
- Slides: sets of announcement and sermon slides.
- Media: video, motion backgrounds and images.
- Scripture: builds Bible passages into slides on demand.
Build a service
- On Services, click New Service. Fill in date, type and title.
- Add the songs from Songs with the blue Add.
- Add scripture, slide sets and media the same way from their tabs.
- Go to Live and check the outline reads in the order the service will run.
- Click through each item once to check it shows correctly.
- Wait for Online at the bottom right before leaving.
Look at a past service first and reuse the same sections each week: Pre-Service, Worship Music, Welcome/Greeting, Message/Sermon.
Keep it consistent: name sermon slide sets with the date and series, the way the Slides tab already does. Keep reusable items, like announcements and title slides, in one slide set.
Songs and arrangements
An order is the sequence of verses, choruses and bridges. Original is the song as imported. A named order is a version someone saved for their team.
- Open the Order dropdown on the song in Live.
- Pick the order the band will play.
- Edit Orders rearranges sections. New Order starts a copy.
Importing: search the library first so you don't add a duplicate. Then Add Song → SongSelect (licensed via CCLI), Loop Community, or Create Song.
Edit a song's slides
- Left: the song's slides. Click one to edit it.
- Middle: the slide as it'll look. Click the text to change it.
- Bottom: slide notes (chords and notes), not shown to the audience.
- Right: song template, background color, presentation size (1920 × 1080).
- Save and close keeps changes. Close discards them.
Keep each slide to 2-4 lines so it reads from the back. If a line wraps badly, split the slide instead of shrinking the text.
Scripture settings
- Passage: e.g. John 3:16-21.
- Translation: the dropdown beside it.
- Slide break: e.g. every verse.
- Include verse numbers: show or hide.
- Template / Background media: the look.
Match the translation to the one the speaker reads from.
Slides
Sort by last modified to find this week's set fast. Use 16:9 for anything built elsewhere, and leave margin so edges don't crop.
Media
Import file with tags lets you label files (e.g. motion background) to filter later. The cloud icon means it's stored online. Smaller compressed files load faster. Play each video once on the real output before the service.
Settings and screens
Gear menu
Gear at top right: Settings, Manage Templates, Activity Log, Log Out, Help & Docs, About Presenter. Help & Docs opens WorshipTools' own help.

Display icon → Screen settings. Pick the screen (e.g. Main Audience Output), then choose a Display in the output dropdown. Save keeps it, Cancel leaves it.

Red dot = not sending. Start with the display menu at top right, then click a slide again.

Likely: Another app is in front
When to restart
Restart Presenter if the output stays wrong after you've checked the display menu and clicked a slide, or if it stops responding. Services are stored online, so a restart won't lose your work.
Getting help: gear menu → Help & Docs for WorshipTools' own guides and support.
