Be Generous

This Christmas Season

As you may know, the local Joshua Project organization comes along side families of Schoharie County to help provide Christmas gifts for those who have a need. Toys are collected throughout the year for this occasion and we as a church body are blessed to be able to support this program. From now until December 12th we will have a collection bin in the foyer for donations of new toys. These toys will be used for the Christmas “Shopping” for parents, which is taking place in our building December 13 – 17. Toys are requested for all ages, but of particular need is for ages 11-12. There will also a table of stocking stuffer items available, which can be a fun yet inexpensive way to donate to this meaningful event.

The heart of their ministry is to uphold life and see lives changed through the gospel message. They are a source of hope for the hopeless and we can be too. If you feel led to support this ministry, tags with a description of items they would like  will be on a tree in the foyer. Take a tag(s), purchase the item and return it to the gift box that will be under the big Christmas tree. No wrapping required! Our support of this wonderful resource for women and families will help them start the year off with the supplies they desperately need.
